The FoxxHole™ System arrives on location as a self-contained trailer; rigged for transportation, deployment and anchoring. The unit is positioned at a predetermined distance from the working platform by qualified FES personnel, or a trained client rig crewmember, and becomes the egress termination point. It is then anchored by stabilizing jacks which elevate and secure the anchor trailer for use. A sheave assembly is attached to a crown anchor line, or engineered structural frame, depending on rig type. The chute is then deployed; self-winched from the trailer to the platform. Set-up takes only a few minutes, as does rigging-out. Unique amongst evacuation devices, The FoxxHole™ System provides flexibility with respect to on-site location. It can be deployed either straight back from the platform, or at an angle around flare pits, tanks, sumps, manifold shacks, pump jacks, production facilities, lay down equipment, etc. In certain situations, the system may use wind effect reduction sleeves anchored to the ground via rope from the chute midpoint.
